About Me
Experience
I have a broad based background as a public high school educator, a registered nurse and an FBI Special Agent and Supervisor.
Family
My three daughters all attended public schools. Based on my background, I feel I bring something fresh to Greenville County's School Board. I am proud of our Greenville Schools and want to see them be the best!
Commitment
Our students must have strong academics, focused on the basics, reading, writing and math fundamentals. They must be empowered to be clear and critical thinkers and of course good citizens.
Vision
All of our students should be career and college ready when they leave our high schools and they should feel confident to face future challenges.
Goals
· Strong Academics - Focus on the basics: Reading, Writing and Math Fundamentals
· Increase student achievement and engagement to ensure students are career and college ready
· Recruit and retain great teachers
· Increase accountability for teachers, administrators and students
· Reasonable class sizes and increased classroom discipline
· Safe School Environment
· Targeted instructional supports to help all students with higher needs
· Developing good citizens and critical clear thinking
